“Kami bersedia membantumu wahai Tuan Guru untuk mengagihkan harta ini” jawab Murid tersebut dengan bersemangat.
“Bolehkah Tuan Guru perincikan kepada siapakah harta ini akan dibahagikan?” seorang murid yang lain bertanya dengan lebih lanjut.
“Hartaku ini akan aku sedekahkan kepada para pelacur yang berada di tempat sekian-sekian” Jawab Tuan Guru dengan tenang.

Para murid rasa bersalah di atas sikap yang mereka tunjukkan. Salah seorang murid kanan Tuan Guru menawarkan dirinya untuk menyampaikan harta tersebut. Mana mungkin dia boleh membiarkan Tuan Guru yang terkenal hebat dan wara’ ini dibiarkan masuk dan bertandang ke tempat hina seperti itu.
“Ketuklah setiap pintu rumah pelacuran tersebut dan ketika kamu menyampaikan sedekah ini katakan bahawa ini adalah sedekah daripadaku (Nama tuan guru) dan doakan aku semoga diberkati oleh Allah taala” Tuan Guru memberikan pesanan kepada muridnya tersebut.
Maka sang murid yang mulia ini terus memulakan tugasnya dengan penuh tanda tanya di dalam pemikirannya mengapakah Tuan Guru ingin benar memberikan sedekah kepada golongan hina ini.Namun arahan Tuan Guru perlu dilaksanakan.Sang murid menutup mukanya dan terus masuk ke kawasan pelacuran tersebut.
Beliau mengetuk setiap pintu rumah pelacuran di kawasan itu dan menyampaikan apa yang dipesan oleh Tuan Guru kepadanya.
“Assalamualaikum, maafkan saya mengganggu,saya adalah utusan daripada Tuan Guru fulan bin fulan ingin menyampaikan sedekah daripada beliau kepada kalian.Beliau berpesan agar mendoakan beliau semoga dirahmati oleh Allah taala”.
Terkejut para pelacur bila mendengar nama Tuan Guru yang alim dan wara tersebut sudi memberikan sedekah kepada mereka.Setelah selesai tugasnya, sang murid terus beredar daripada kawasan hitam tersebut sambil menghelakan nafasnya.
Masing-masing ternanti-nanti apakah yang akan berlaku selanjutnya setelah peristiwa tersebut. Keesokkan paginya , sesuatu yang mengejutkan telah berlaku. Tuan Guru yang saya maksudkan di sini ialah al-Alim al-Allamah Muhaddis al-Syam Sayyid Badruddin al-Hasani rahimahullahu taala.

Beliau wafat pada 1354 Hijriyah.Beliau digelar “Khatimah al-Huffaz dan al-Muhaddissin” yang bermaksud penutup kepada para ulama Hadis yang terkemuka. Mula mengarang kitab ketika umurnya belumpun sampai 20 tahun. Beliau mengajar di Masjid Umawi pelbagai bidang ilmu seperti Nahwu, Sarf, Balaghah, Mantiq, Fiqh dan lain-lain.Menurut Syeikh al-Allamah Mahmud Rashid al-Attar rahimahullah (wafat 1362 Hijriyah), Syeikh Badruddin al-Hasani juga mengajar kitab Tafsir Baidhawi tanpa melihat kepada kitab dan tanpa memegang apa-apa kertas pun ditangannya.Tafsir tersebut telah dihafalnya dan dikuasainya dengan begitu hebat.

Ketika umur Syeikh al-Allamah Badruddin al-Hasani mencapai 30 tahun beliau mula mengajar Sahih Bukhari di Masjid al-Sadat.Ini juga dilakukan tanpa melihat kitab sedikitpun.Beliau menghafal keseluruhan Sahih Bukhari di dalam dadanya.Menurut para ulama tidak pernah dilihat seseorang yang begitu alim menyampaikan pengajian dengan keseluruhan bidang ilmu seperti Syeikh Badruddin al-Hasani rahimahullah.Ketika mensyarahkan Sahih Bukhari , keseluruhan ilmu dibahaskannya termasuklah ilmu perubatan, hikmah-hikmah, falsafah dan lain-lain.
Antara kelebihan Syeikh Badruddin al-Hasani rahimahullah juga ialah, semuanya mampu untuk memahami apa yang disampaikannya,bukan hanya para ulama dan penuntut ilmu, malah para petani dan orang awam yang biasa juga mampu untuk memahami apa yang disampaikan oleh Syeikh al-Murabbi rahimahullah.Ini kerana keikhlasannya yang begitu tinggi ketika menyampaikan pengajian.Beliau juga digelar Qutb al-Zaman (Wali Allah yang menjadi paksi kepada seluruh para wali ketika itu)dan Mujaddid pada zaman tersebut.
Semoga Allah taala merahmatimu wahai Tuan Guru yang mulia.
